AN UNSOLICITED PLEA FOR ASSISTANCE IN REEVALUATION OF THE ROCKWALL CO., TEXAS-ROCKWALL ANOMALY
JAMES J. (BUD) SHELTON

Anarchaeology.com and The Quivira Project are pleased to present the revised paper James (Bud) Shelton wrote in 2000 as an open appeal to earth scientists of all types to reexamine the phenomenon of the buried walls at Rockwall, Texas. Bud Shelton is one of the few geologists who availed himself of the opportunity to examine the walls first hand during the last excavations of 1999-2000. Shortly afterward the site was backfilled and a rare chance to examine the unique geology of this phenomenon was gone. Bud's analysis of the mechanisms which formed these walls is a brilliant synthesis of what has been observed concerning them since the 19th century and his conclusions are nearly as unique as the rock walls themselves. We hope readers will find this paper as informative and thought provoking as we did.
