Bioherms Bosque County Texas organic in origin- Baylor Geology Studies

These circular structures were formed over millions of years as successive waves lapped over the great central barrier reef from Cretaceous seas. Though resembling Puebloan ruin foundations they finished forming before human existence. No human connection to them has been found to date that I know.
