Several weeks ago I was shown an aerial reconnaissance photo of the area enclosed by the buried walls at Rockwall,Texas which seemed to indicate a series of meteorite impact craters and subterranean cavities within the perimeter. Upon further researching the material available on hidden impact craters discovered since 1991 in Oklahoma and Texas,I find that there are a number of similarities in the geology of these impacts and Rockwall, notably the cretaceous sedimentation which is associated with both phenomena.
Since John Lindsey is the principal investigator on the Rockwall project(Qivira) I will refrain from any further conclusions until I get more input from him.
An exciting development recently is that I was given a sample of very unusual material from a creek near Madill,Oklahoma which bears a strong visual similarity to the Rockwall material and was retrieved from a blue shale formation which may be a continuation of the Gulf series cretaceous formations in which the rock walls in Texas are embedded. I gave a sample to John Lindsey for his brother, a geologist to examine in the near future. I will post his comments here when I receive them.
As of this posting ,John is not online yet but I will be glad to forward any questions or comments to him for anyone who wishes me to.
Webmaster Nick will be adding some Rockwall photos and text to a page at the main anarchaeology.com pages soon.We plan to get a separate website for John's Qivira Project going but the past year everyone's been up to their eyeballs in alligators, projectwise. In the fullness of time-----.

TexasGuy, since someof these impact craters have been shown to be reservoirs of oil deposits, the geological community has taken a keener interest in them. Not that geologists are not motivated by pure love of knowledge for its own sake but petrochemicals do seem to elevate their motivation levels LOL.
